Toronto Wedding Video | Khalid + Uroos

So the idea of doing films had been brewing in ours heads for a while, and finally it formed itself in reality with Khalid and Uroos’ engagement shoot. Initially we thought about possible eShoot ideas and locations, but for one reason or another nothing really clicked. We then pitched the idea of doing a video for the engagement shoot along with a script and song choice, and Khalid and Uroos were totally game. We started off capturing their getting-ready type shots in Mississauga, and then moved on to downtown for the remainder of the shoot. The entire film was shot over a weekend.

In 2012 and 2013, we will only be selecting a handful of wedding assignments for video. So if that is something you’re interested in and would like to be considered for, drop us a line with your wedding details, and we will be in touch.

Starting now, we are also offering video engagement shoots for that includes initial consultation, script and story development, shooting, editing, and final delivery. Couples who we’ve been talking to intend to showcase the engagement shoot video with their wedding or save-the-date e-invites, their own wedding website, or as introduction highlights video before the grand entrance at the wedding.

Best Wedding Photography Toronto | Farrah + Ahsan Engagement Shoot

It happens every summer. Things go by so fast that it’s practically a blur. And with 2011 becoming our busiest and most promising year thus far, it’s no different this time. But when we get to share pictures such as these from Farrah and Ahsan’s engagement shoot, it’s a feeling like no other.

Ahsan is one of our ex-client’s brother and we are always really happy when we get to do more than one wedding in the family. Not only is it a lot of fun, it tells us we’re doing something right.

We’re gonna keep it short, and get to the pictures. Enjoy!

Toronto Best Wedding Photographers | Parag + Mona Engagement Shoot

When Parag and Mona approached us for their wedding, we were super excited! For their first engagement shoot, we picked out a bunch of locations starting from their chic downtown Toronto condo and the plan was to end the day near a beach for some water shots. However, when we got to the end of the shoot, it being an extremely windy day, we were faced with thrashing waves so fierce and thunderous, that in interest of keeping all our body parts intact we decided to meet another day for the water pictures. Somewhere along the way, Meem came up with the idea of doing a picnic themed shoot for Parag and Mona. One thing led to another and before we knew it we were planning a full on production of an engagement shoot.

To make things even more interesting, we contacted our past bride and cupcake couturier Nasma of Frost Cupcakes. She made the most devilish cupcakes that looked and tasted the part and fitted our themed shoot perfectly. We practically had to fight everyone including ourselves from devouring them before the shoot ended. If you’re thinking about having a cake or cupcakes at your wedding, you owe it to yourself to at least try one of Nasma’s treats!

Wow has this been the longest winter in Toronto ever or what? Still we were lucky enough yesterday to be able to find the best possible weather in the longest time to be able to pull off Ritwik and Priya’s engagement photography. We were so excited about their photos, we came home, loaded up their pictures and here we are blogging about them the next day.

Ritwik and Priya are the cutest and the funniest people to hang out with and we had a lot of fun shooting their engagement shoot. And we can’t wait for their wedding this July in Ottawa. Hope you guys like the pictures!

Destination Wedding | Angelina + Tejas’ Engagement Shoot

The two best things about any wedding we do are, firstly, the engagement shoot, and secondly, the couple’s shoot on the wedding day. Of the two, we enjoy eShoots way more! It’s a relaxing day for us and for the couple. They don’t really have to go anywhere, we don’t have a timeline to follow, and we can take our sweet time creating some beautiful images. We love to plan our shots. We talk about shot ideas over dinner, in between serious conversations, and even movies. Yes, we’re the couple in the back row whispering in the middle of the movie and making notes in our iPhones. Sorry!

Anyhoo, today we have an engagement shoot to share with you. Angelina and Tejas’. They will be getting married in Edmonton this July and we are super excited about covering their destination wedding, which is also going to be featured in a magazine. More on that later this summer.

For their engagement shoot, we headed downtown Toronto at the ever-popular Distillery District followed by some shots on Lakeshore with city skyline at the back. Check it out and leave some facebook lova lova!

Toronto Beaches Engagement Shoot | Ali + Nasma eShoot

Today we’d like to share some engagement shoot pictures of Ali and Nasma’s. For their shoot we went to the Lakeshore area in Toronto.

Ali is a cricket buff and Nasma owns and operates a bakery (and loves cupcakes), so we obviously had to incorporate their secondary love of life into the eShoot. (Wait till you see the cakes these guys had at their wedding in a subsequent post). To achieve a different look, we did part of their shoot at night starting just before the last rays of sunset vanished. Enjoy!

Lakeshore Engagement Shoot | Farhan & Kanwal – eShoot Casual

If you’ve already checked out the Farhan and Kanwal’s formal engagement shoot near Lakeshore in Mississauga, here is the continuation of that engagement shoot. This was shot the same day, after a dress change at the same location at Port Credit.

Port Credit Engagement Shoot | Farhan & Kanwal – eShoot Formal

The shoot was supposed to be an hour long. They ended up shooting for three. After the shoot, walking towards the car, Meem turns to Aliph and says, “It’s on days like these that I love being a wedding photographer”.

Farhan had proposed to Kanwal near the lighthouse on Port Credit in Mississauga. Ever since then, the place had had a special meaning for the two of them. Obviously, when it came to choosing a location for their engagement shoot, there was no other choice. Even though the weather man said otherwise, and the clouds were less than friendly, despite suggesting other locations and backup plans, we knew that it would mean a lot of Farhan and Kanwal to have their engagement shoot at Port Credit. Consequently, we marched on, and the skies cleared up for the entire duration of the shoot.

We did a two part shoot for them with a dress change in the middle. We started off with some formal shots, and then did a casual shoot with some props.
